Born in Hong Kong, China, Tang Yu Hin Hugo trained at Hong Kong Youth Ballet Academy and Queensland Ballet Academy before joining Hong Kong Ballet (HKB) as an Apprentice in 2022.

1. What is the place where you feel most yourself?
On stage - it's a place where I can forget about everything else and dance.
 

2. If you could have one more talent, what would it be?
Being able to snap my fingers, because I can’t, and I feel left out
 

3. What’s your favourite food?
Steak
 

4. What would you be if you were not a dancer?
Professional Surfer
 

5. What are your hobbies?
Surfing, watching movies, drinking coffee and eating good food!
 

6. What is your favorite movie/book?
Minions: The Rise of Gru
 

7. Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited or want to visit?
I would love to travel to the South of France in the summer and relax at its beautiful beaches.

8. What is the coolest thing about being a dancer?
Dancing in beautiful theatres with live music

9. If you can have a superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation, so I can visit new countries and places whenever I want

10. Who is your favorite dancer who has inspired you?
Jeffrey Cirio - I love the
way he moves and dances with such beautiful and fluid movements. I hope I can dance like him someday.
