Dance Unites: Ballet Masterclass with International Ballet Guest Teacher Kee Juan Han

Kee Juan Han is currently a principal at Singapore Ballet Academy. An internationally celebrated ballet teacher, his most notable student is David Hallberg, principal dancer at American Ballet Theatre and former principal dancer at Bolshoi Ballet. Kee Juan Han returns to Hong Kong Ballet as a guest teacher, guiding our dancers through the daily company classes, elevating their technique to prepare for our upcoming production of Swan Lake.

*About Kee Juan Han Bio*

Kee Juan Han trained at the Australian Ballet School and has danced with Sydney Dance Company and Goh Ballet in Canada. He was a Principal Dancer with Indianapolis Ballet and a Soloist with Boston Ballet and is currently a principal at Singapore Ballet Academy.

He has directed Arizona Ballet School and The Washington School of Ballet and was a North Carolina School of the Arts faculty member. Named best Teacher/Coach at Youth America Grand Prix in 2000 and 2015, Kee helped The Washington School of Ballet win Best Youth Dance Performance by Washington DC/Metro Dance and Outstanding School Award at Youth America Grand Prix for six consecutive years.

Kee regularly teaches internationally at companies like Hong Kong Ballet, Boston Ballet, Jacob’s Pillow and Milwaukee Ballet.

*Conducted in English. Participants must be at least twelve years old with at least five years of ballet training.
