Cancellation of event

In view of the novel coronavirus outbreak, Hong Kong Ballet’s Ballet Theatre Camp: The Sleeping Beauty (10-12 Apr 2020) has been cancelled. For those applied for the event, please see below for your options moving forward.

1.            Swap to Summer Ballet Workshop 2020: The Wizard of Oz (Saturdays, 4 Jul – 5 Sep)

The Workshop includes 8 lessons taught by Hong Kong Ballet artists, an observation class for family or friends and a private working Hong Kong Ballet rehearsal. Students can receive priority seating at our popular Ballet 360° series and has the opportunity to book the best seats for The Wizard of Oz at attractive discounts. If you would like to swap to Summer Ballet Workshop, you need to make up the course fee difference. After receiving your application, you will be informed by email on or before 30 April 2020.

2.            Donate the Refunded Amount

For those interested in donating all or part of the refunded amount to Hong Kong Ballet, please fill in the donation amount. The refunded amount will be donated to our Student Ticket Fund for underwriting the 50% ticket price for our student audiences.

3.            Apply for a Full Refund

A full refund will be automatically deposited to the same credit card account via art-mate. Refunds by credit card will be made within 6 to 8 weeks from 30 March 2020. No refunds in either cash or cheque will be made for items purchased by credit card.

This Easter, join Ballet Theatre Camp to embrace fate and true love in the popular classic fairytale The Sleeping Beauty! This interactive three-day ballet camp will take children ages 4-10 on an unforgettable journey with the loyal Prince Désiré, beautiful Princess Aurora and evil fairy Carabosse. Participants will learn more about production’s story background, choreography, theatrical props and timeless music in fun hands-on experiences. On the first day, children will be treated to watch a professional rehearsal. Parents/guardians are invited to attend the exciting dance demonstration on the last day to see everything the children have created. Don’t miss out on this enchanting adventure!
