The Choreographers’ Showcase 2014 consisted of a production of eight pieces of choreographic works by 10 of The Hong Kong Ballet’s dancers. After the show on the opening night of 28th November 2014, the Company’s Director of Artistic Planning & Touring, Mr. Joseph Morrissey hosted a 30-minute Meet-the-Artist session, introducing the ten choreographers: Candice Adea, Jessica Burrows and Sarah Yeung, Yuh Egami & Ricky Hu, Willem Houck, Li Jia-bo, Li Lin, Jonathan Spigner, and Frank van Tongeren, who shared their creative ideas and visions behind each piece of work with approximately 140 members of the audience.
