On 22nd August 2014 The Hong Kong Ballet presented the première of Don Quixote. Before the performance began, our Director of Artistic Planning & Touring Joseph Morrissey and Education & Community Outreach Department Manager Vency Kwok conducted a 20-minute pre-performance talk. We invited Nina Ananiashvili, who staged and contributed additional choreography to this version of Don Quixote, to talk about the new production to the audience of over 80 people. She also talked about her experiences staging this production for The Hong Kong Ballet in particular, and her insights gave the audience a new perspective on both Don Quixote and ballet in general.
