A preview of Pinocchio, 'Get-To-Know Pinocchio' was held on 18^th August 2015 at the Studio Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre. HK Ballet's Artistic Director Madeleine Onne talked about the history of Pinocchio, and an interview with the guest artists was held to share their insights and ideas about the creation and the making of this brand new ballet. There were 150 audience members in attendance.

On this enjoyable night, the Choreographer Pär Isberg talked about his creative process both in the choreography and in the choice of music for Pinocchio. Jérôme Kaplan, the Costume Designer, shared his thoughts on designing the stunning costumes accompanied by the costume display of some of the characters. The talk continued with information about the set and light design, and props, as well as a dance demonstration with excerpts from Pinocchio danced by HK Ballet's dancers. It ended beautifully with the Pas de Deux of Geppetto and The Blue Fairy.
