Two well-received children’s workshops of The Nutcracker were held in the rehearsal room of the Grand Theatre backstage on 19^th August 2015. More than 60 children, ages 4 to 8 years, had the unique opportunity to learn more about this classic Christmas ballet through storytelling, handcrafts, costume appreciation, and creative dance movement before they watched the actual show. The children were excited to make their own Christmas cards to bring home during the festive season!
