On 20th December 2014, two Children’s Workshops themed around The Nutcracker were held in the rehearsal rooms of the Grand Theatre backstage. Approximately 80 children aged 4 to 8 years were inspired by storytelling, handcrafts, costume appreciation and creative movement. They also enjoyed dancing with swords and acting as soldiers and the Rat King! The cheerful festive atmosphere was the perfect start to the Christmas season.
