The Preview of Serenade and More, was held on 31 May 2016 at the Studio Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre with nearly 100 enthusiastic audience members in attendance.

Artistic Director Madeleine Onne provided the audience with some meaningful background on Serenade and interviewed Fei Bo, Over There and Shenren Chang’s choreographer, about his insights on his choreography and the concepts and inspiration behind the costume designs, which were on display onstage. Edwaard Liang, the choreographer of Sacred Thread, also shared his thoughts on creating his new piece Sacred Thread alongside his costume designer Bridget Steis, who spoke about her collaborative creation process with Liang.  

Following the discussion, everyone had the opportunity to experience the exclusive performances of two world premières by the Company’s dancers: Yao Jin, Lin Li and Lucas Jerkander in Shenren Chang and Yu-yao Liu, Jia-bo Li, Rui-xue Dong, Lucas Jerkander, Ge Gao and Song-wei Hu in Sacred Thread. Both gave the guests a taste of what the season finale Serenade and More had in store.
