Corps de Ballet

Larissa Li was born in Hong Kong, China. She graduated from Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and later from English National Ballet School. She joined Hong Kong Ballet (HKB) as an Apprentice in 2022 and became a Corps de Ballet member in 2024.. With HKB, she has performed in Septime Webre’s Cinderella.
 

Dancer Q&A

1. Why did you start dancing?
I started dancing, because I got inspired from watching my first-ever ballet show. I was absolutely mesmerised by the stage lights, costumes and dancers.

2. What was the first ballet you ever performed?
My first professional performance was Cinderella with Hong Kong Ballet


3. How do you unwind after a show?
I like to take my time and roll out my muscles after performing. I also get a midnight snack when going home.


4. What is the place where you feel most yourself?
I feel most myself at home.


5. If you could have one more talent, what would it be?
If I could have one more talent, I would want the ability to play different instruments.


6. What’s your favourite food?
Sushi and all kinds of desserts.


7. What would you be if you were not a dancer?
I would be a food critic.


8. Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited or want to visit?
I would love to visit Croatia one day.


9. If you can have a super power, what would it be?
Teleportation


10. Who is your favorite dancer who has inspired you?
Natalia Osipova is my favourite dance
