Born in Hong Kong, China, Loo Suet Ying Zoe studied at Canada’s National Ballet School and Kirov Academy of Washington DC. Her accolades include first place in Senior Classical and third place in Senior Contemporary at the 2021 Youth Grand Prix semi-finals. She joined Hong Kong Ballet as Hong Kong Training Scholar in 2023 and became a Corps de Ballet member in 2024.. With HKB, she has performed in La Bayadère, Coco Chanel: the Life of a Fashion Icon, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote and ALICE (in wonderland).

1.What was the first ballet you ever performed?
The first ballet I ever performed in was The Nutcracker. I was the little Clarchën.
2. What is the coolest thing about being a dancer?
The coolest thing about being a dancer is having the ability to bring joy and tell stories with movements to the audiences.
3.How do you unwind after a show?
Cuddling with my cats on the couch and having desserts.
4. What is the most interesting place you have ever visited or want to visit?
I would love to visit Maldives one day.
5. What keeps you motivated on tough days?
Thinking back on how hard I’ve worked to get to who I am now.
6.What does ballet mean to you?
Ballet has taught me so many important life lessons that I carry in my daily life.
7. If you could have a super power, what would it be?
Understanding every language in the world.
8. What is your favourite food?
Bagel, coffee and any kind of dessert.
9. What would you be if you were not a dancer?
Coffee shop owner.

Cafe hopping.
