1. Why do you dance?
I find it amazing to see what my body can do.
2. Why did you start dancing?
My parents brought me to my first ballet class, but I was too frightened so I withdrew. However, I kept putting on the little pink tutu and jumping around at home, so my parents brought me back to the class the following year.
3. Most memorable onstage moment and why?
The heel of my pointe shoe came off halfway through a dance, and I had to continue dancing with half a shoe on! After that experience, I always make sure my elastics are in perfect condition.
4. How do you unwind after a show?
I usually grab a drink on my way home and enjoy some ‘me time’ after a nice shower.
5. What keeps you motivated on tough days?
I think of how hard I’ve worked and how lucky I am with the opportunities that I have.
6. If you could have one more talent, what would it be?
I want to be able to speak all the languages, so I can communicate with artists around the world.
7. What would you be if you were not a dancer?
I might be a data analyst, because I’m actually quite interested in numbers.
8. What are your hobbies?
I love watching movies and cooking!
9. What is your favourite movie/book?
My favourite movie is Farewell My Concubine. Leslie Cheung is just the best.
10. Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited or want to visit?
I enjoyed Bali the most, especially the beaches and the culture!
