Main Responsibilities
 

• Assist the Director of Wardrobe in the making of costumes for new or revised productions by the Company
• Assist in the general running of the Wardrobe Department and the supervision of the seamstresses and casual wardrobe staff
• Co-operation with any visiting designers in order to facilitate the efficient making of costumes within budgets and to high standards
• Co-operate with the Wardrobe team, the Head of Programming Department, Marketing Department, Technical staff and other staff of the Company
• Such other duties appropriate to the post-holder’s capacity within the Wardrobe Department as may normally be expected of a Costume Cutter
• Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Wardrobe, the management or their delegate(s) from time to time

Requirements
 

• At less five or above pattern/modeling cutting experience
• Thorough knowledge of the nature of various fabrics and organization’s standards relating to tailoring workmanship. Providing perfect building, fitting to our dancers for every productions
• Respect teamwork, accuracy and precision in the alteration work and passionate in the tailoring
• Experience in Ballet/Dance costume is a plus but not a must
