Reporting to Director of Marketing, the Marketing Officer will assist in formulating and implementing all marketing campaigns to support the Company’s artistic and business goals.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate the Company’s marketing materials including but not limited to posters, leaflets, ad layouts, banners, exhibitions, and ensure they are of high quality and delivered in a timely fashion
- Assist in advertising, promotion, and during show periods, front-of-house operations
- Operate the membership schemes of Friends of Hong Kong Ballet, Ballet Family Club and Subscribers, e.g. developing publicity materials, answering enquiries, organising and executing activities
- Engage in joint marketing/ promotion initiatives/activities
- Perform ad hoc duties as required
Requirement
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Multimedia, Cultural Management or Arts disciplines is preferred
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin an advantage
- Excellent project management, organisational and analytical skills
- Pleasant and helpful personality with excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- A team player, creative, proactive, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Some knowledge of website, Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop and video editing tools will be an advantage
- Have a great passion for ballet, dance and the arts
- This position does include working after office hours, on weekends and outdoors occasionally
