Main Responsibilities
 

• Assist the Director of Wardrobe to arrange and organize Wardrobe related activities, perform administrative duties for the department
• Take care and run the performances, in charge of dressers and arrangement around it, arrange and tidy up costumes and accessories after each production
• Assist for Costume Designer or Director for fabrics and other related items in sourcing
• Participate in simple sewing, cutting or headdresses making, production fitting or costume parade
• Work closely with the team to achieve a smooth running of the Company’s performances or events, includes prepare and get ready of the required costumes in advance for the rehearsals and the performances; arrange and perform quick changes during the performances; arrange the necessary accessories for the contracted dressers and support them during the performances
• In-charge and arrange with outside vendors on making costumes
• Prepare and get ready for the required dyed shoes or fabric for all performances and events
• Assist other departments in their events on costume and accessory requirements and when necessary attend the venue visits
• Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Wardrobe, the management or their delegate(s) from time to time
• Willing to work in flexible hours and overseas

Requirements
 

• Graduate in Costume technology, Fashion technology, Textiles and clothing or related discipline
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in theatre/ event/ garment industry
• Good knowledge in running wardrobe. Textiles, fabrics and trimmings knowledge is preferable
• Well organized, detail-minded and capable to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic skill in simple sewing and needle work is preferred
• Immediate available preferably
