The 2017 Hong Kong Ballet Ball

An Elegant and Meaningful Fundraising Gala
All for the Love of Ballet

[Hong Kong – 18 February 2017] The Hong Kong Ballet Ball, one of the longest running fundraising events in the city, was held in the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong’s Grand Ballroom on Friday, 17 February 2017.

The much-anticipated event was made possible by Luxury Sponsor Swiss fine watchmaking brand Jaeger-LeCoultre, who collaborated for the first time with Hong Kong Ballet for the event and always spares no effort in promoting the development of arts in different forms including ballet and cinema. The purpose of the evening was to raise funds to allow the Company to continue staging magnificent productions, encouraging emerging choreographers, educating the next generation of audiences and supporting the development of the arts in Hong Kong. Since the Ballet Ball began in 1985, the funds generated by this event have significantly contributed to the growth of the Company. Today, Hong Kong Ballet is internationally recognised as a top institution that embodies the dynamic vitality of Hong Kong.
