[Hong Kong—14 October 2023] Hong Kong Ballet (HKB) partnered with Cartier to reprise the Hong Kong Ballet Ball after a five-year hiatus. The much-anticipated event was held in Rosewood Hong Kong’s The Grand Ballroom on Friday, 13 October 2023.
The Ball’s theme ‘The Black and White Ball: Where Shadows and Light Dance’ celebrates HKB’s new production of Swan Lake, a gorgeous contemporary take on a beloved classic that will enthral audiences next year. The Ballet Ball has been a glittering highlight of the charity ball season since its inception in 1985. Ball Co-Chairs Daisy Ho, BBS, Janice Chan-Choy and Maya Lin emphasised the many hands that helped bring the evening to life. Ho said, ‘It has been five years in the making, so let's not just raise funds; let's raise hopes, dreams, and Hong Kong's cultural spirit.
