Artistic Director’s Message

This season, let us dance you a story!

We all draw inspiration, courage and strength from narratives that elevate and illuminate our lives. We hope that this season, our performances will take you on an extraordinary journey, immersing you in the exhilarating, transcendent experience of ballet.

This season features reimagined classic ballets like Cinderella, La Bayadère and The Nutcracker, the world premiere of Coco Chanel: the Life of a Fashion Icon and an epic new production of Carmina Burana, produced in collaboration with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. We are thrilled to share these new dynamic stories that highlight the artistry and charisma of the company.

Kicking off 2023, the company will have its exciting U.S. tour, with Romeo + Juliet performances in New York and down the eastern seaboard. We will also be hosting the renowned American Ballet Theatre Studio Company at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

We look forward to welcoming you to the theatre, where ideas and emotions will explode from the stage and pirouette into your heart.
