ALICE (in wonderland) Ballet Workshop

On 19 August 2018, more than 30 guests with visual impairment, their caregivers and staff from Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAHK) experienced a memorable evening at the Asian première performance of ALICE (in wonderland) at Hong Kong Cultural Centre.  

A special Pre-Performance Workshop was arranged for the guests who had the opportunity to feel the textures of the sparkling new costumes and learn some signature ballet movements from the actual production at the rehearsal studio at Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Audio description was provided for both the workshop and the performance, allowing many to fully experience ballet for the first time and fall down the rabbit hole with Alice!
