On 18 August 2018, almost 200 audience members enjoyed meaningful pre-performance talks at Hong Kong Cultural Centre before seeing the actual ALICE (in wonderland) performances. Led by the Company’s Artistic Director Septime Webre and Education & Community Outreach Manager Vency Kwok, the two 20-minute informative talks were conducted in English and Cantonese, respectively. 

The ballet’s concept and costume designer Liz Vandal and Company dancers YANG Ruiqi , LAI Nok Sze Vanessa and LEUNG Chunlong spoke about their experiences during the production, and audience members were excited to see some dancers in their colourful ALICE (in wonderland) costumes. The talks were a perfect introduction to the production, giving guests insightful background information before the show
