On 25 August 2018, Hong Kong Ballet organized an ALICE (in wonderland) Family Fun Workshop at Exhibition Corner, Yuen Long Theatre for over 130 guests. Everyone learnt more details about ALICE (in wonderland)’s fascinating background, music and storyline with an interactive talk by Education & Community Outreach Manager Vency Kwok. Many were surprised to learn about special features built into the characters’ costumes and were intrigued by the behind-the-scenes facts. 

Additionally, Company dancers Suhyeon AHN and Forrest Rain OLIVEROS personally shared about their experiences dancing in ALICE (in wonderland) and what it meant to them. The families also had the opportunity to closely examine the costumes’ unique fabrics and designs as well as learn some ballet movements from the production from the dancers. We could tell that all of the participants really enjoyed the experience from their delighted smiles!
