3-Day Dance Workshop

Stefan Zeromski, Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) ballet master and former principal dancer, will help participants trace and discover Kylián's extremely musical and sensual choreographic language. Experience Kylián's approach in a context of rehearsing and presenting Kylián's masterpieces such as Petite Mort, Sechs Tänze, and Whereabouts Unknown.

Ballet Master and Teacher

Born in Poland, Stefan Zeromski joined the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw after graduating from the State Ballet School in Poznan, Poland in 1985. He became a soloist the following year and was awarded the Leon Wojcikowski Prize for best dancer. In 1987, he joined Ballett der Deutschen Oper Berlin as a soloist and worked with choreographers such as Roland Petit, Maurice Béjart and Lucinda Childs. Until recently, Zeromski was a dancer of the Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) where he participated in creating many original works by Jiří Kylián, Paul Lightfoot, Sol Léon, Mats Ek, William Forsythe, Johan Inger and Ohad Naharin, among others. He also danced in the television recordings of NDT’s repertoire, including Bella FiguraSweet DreamsPetite MortSigning OffWings of Wax and Silent Screen. Zeromski is currently a freelance dancer, ballet master and teacher.

Requirement: Aged 16+, For non-professional dancers who possess intermediate to advanced level dance training or at least 4 years of contemporary dance or ballet training. Please include dance CV upon registration.

Fee: $600
