Choreographers’ Showcase 2016 created the opportunity for emerging local choreographers and Hong Kong Ballet dancers to unleash their creative talent through 8 choreographic works! After opening night’s show on 23 September, a 30-minute Meet-the-Artist session in the Studio Theatre at HKCC was led by Madeleine Onne, the Company’s Artistic Director. The 9 choreographers - Jun Chen, Chao-ya He and Jia-bo Li, Ka-chun Hui, Ryo Kato, Chun-long Leung, Justyne Li, Lin Li and Jonathan Spigner - each shared with the audience their creative ideas and visions behind each piece of work as well as their choreographing experience with dancers.
