Choreographers’ Showcase 2017 was a huge success, unleashing the creativity of emerging local choreographers and Hong Kong Ballet dancers! After each performance, a Meet-the-Artist session was held inside Studio Theatre at Hong Kong Cultural Centre, where Septime Webre, the Company’s artistic director, interviewed the 9 choreographers: Luis Cabrera, He Chaoya & Li Jiabo, Hu Song Wei Ricky, Lucas Jerkander, Leung Chunlong, Li Lin, Jonathan Spigner and Yang Ruiqi. Each shared with the audience their original creative ideas and vision behind each piece of work as well as the choreographing experience with the dancers.
