DANCE UNITES - Wayne McGregor Repertory Workshop

Wayne McGregor is The Royal Ballet’s Resident Choreographer. His signature masterpiece Chroma won the 2007 Olivier Award. Chroma will premiere in Hong Kong as the opening of our season finale performance - HK Ballet X HK Phil: The Rite of Spring at the end of May this year. Don’t miss the chance to experience this ground breaking work first hand and learn about the choreographic styles of Wayne McGregor in our upcoming workshop. The workshop will be led by Wayne McGrgegor’s Principal Restager, Antoine Vereecken, and includes a 30 minutes warm up session, followed by a 45 minutes repertory teaching session.

Multi award-winning British choreographer and director Wayne McGregor CBE is Artistic Director of Studio Wayne McGregor, founded in 1993. He is also Resident Choreographer of The Royal Ballet, London. He is regularly commissioned by and has works in the repertories of the world's major ballet companies, and choreographs for theatre, TV and film, including Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Accolades include four Critics’ Circle Awards, two Olivier Awards, two Golden Mask Awards and a Prix Benois de la Danse.
