About the Program
ballet workshop for age 6
In Beginner Ballet, young students continue to develop ballet vocabulary through focused barre and centre work. Exercises emphasise balance, posture and spatial awareness to prepare for further barre work in the Ballet 1 class. There is a stronger focus on the importance of musicality, self-expression and fostering creativity through improvisation in addition to directed individual and group movement patterns.
