On 4-5 November, two insightful Lady of the Camellias Pre-performance Talks were given by the Company’s Education and Community Outreach Manager Vency Kwok in Cantonese and Artistic Director Madeleine Onne in English, respectively. Close to 160 audience members listened intently to the 20-minute discussions at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre before heading over to the actual performance.

Company dancers Fei-fei Ye and Jia-bo Li were interviewed about their experiences during the production, and choreographer Val Caniparoli discussed his choreography style and his personal process of bringing this deeply romantic and tragic story to the stage. The talks were a perfect introduction to Lady of the Camellias, giving guests background information and history before the show.
