On 19 October 2017, Hong Kong Ballet proudly presented a very special Le Corsaire event: an exclusive Morning Class for almost 70 ballet teachers to watch the incomparable Julio Bocca instructing our dancers.

Designed for ballet principals and teachers, this special morning began with coffee and conversation, followed by an exclusive observation of Mr Julio Bocca’s Hong Kong Ballet class. Afterwards, guests participated in an interactive and insightful 45-minute Q&A session with our award-winning guests, Mr Julio Bocca and Ms Anna-Marie Holmes, the ballet’s choreographer, moderated by Mr Septime Webre, Artistic Director of Hong Kong Ballet.

This was a very unique opportunity to meet up close and personal with these very exceptional artists, and the special teachers’ session provided greater insight about Le Corsaire and the creative forces behind it.
