Nearly 150 audience members enjoyed two meaningful Pre-performance Talks at Hong Kong Cultural Centre before watching the actual Le Corsaire performances on 4 November 2017. The two 20-minute informative talks were conducted by the Company’s Education & Community Outreach Manager Vency Kwok in Cantonese and Artistic Director Septime Webre in English, respectively.

The ballet’s choreographer, Anna-Marie Holmes, as well as guest dancer Matthew Golding and Company dancers Jin Yao, Law Lok Huen Tirion and Lai Nok Sze Vanessa were interviewed about their experiences during the production. Participants were also excited to see the dancers in their stunning Le Corsaire costumes and become more familiar with the story and the production process, which enhanced their understanding and appreciation of Le Corsaire.
