On 4 August 2017, Hong Kong Ballet hosted two well-received interactive Le Corsaire workshops for almost 40 children ages 4 to 11 years old in a rehearsal room of Hong Kong Cultural Centre’s Grand Theatre. The children were inspired by the storytelling, costume appreciation and dance movements from the actual Le Corsaire performance onstage. Role-playing the pirates and performing ballet steps from Le Corsaire with playful props were also highlights of the morning. Our younger fans had a wonderful and memorable experience and are looking forward to the next workshop!
