A meet-the-artist session with Alexei Ratmansky was held on 30th March 2015 at the Studio Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Our Director of Artistic Planning & Touring, Joseph Morrissey interviewed the classical ballet master Alexei Ratmansky. Alexei talked about his life as a dancer, choreographer, director and artist. In addition, he rehearsed a short section from his charming and fun one-act ballet, "Le Carnaval des Animaux" (The Carnival of the Animals) with the Hong Kong Ballet dancers. This gave the audience a greater insight into this ballet programme.
