One Day One Dance
In order to support Peace One Day on 21st September 2015, Hong Kong Ballet has launched a special programme called One Day One Dance, in which a famed international guest teacher and former Principal of The Royal Ballet and American Ballet Theatre, Ms. Cynthia Harvey taught a 1.5 hour ballet class with 7 Hong Kong Ballet dancers: Jin Yao, Li Jia-bo, Nina Matiashvili, Jonathan Spigner, Jessica Burrows, Kenneth Hui and Yuh Egami as well as 31 external dance students at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on that day. This wonderfully meaningful event was filmed and broadcasted to promote peace through dance.
