The free school promotion talks of Pinocchio were launched in June and were hosted in both June and July 2015 in local and international primary schools of every district. Through dance demonstration, exploring the background, characters, music and costumes of Pinocchio with the students, the Education and Community Outreach Department successfully introduced the children to the story of Pinocchio - about honesty, courage and kindness, as well as the history, staging and dance movements of ballet. Additionally, students were actively engaged in the ballet movement sessions in which they learned basic ballet steps and pantomime techniques. Both the talk and the interactive session were well received with great acclaim by the teachers and principals of the schools and the students.
