Approximately 650 audience members joined the Pre-curtain Talk at the Yuen Long Theatre Auditorium before heading to the Swan Lake matinee performance on 20 August 2016. Artistic Director Madeleine Onne and Education & Community Outreach Manager Vency Kwok co-hosted the engaging 15-minute talk in both English and Cantonese. 

The talk served as a platform to equip the audience with a better understanding of Swan Lake’s background and story. Furthermore, the main characters from Swan Lake were introduced to our audience, who enjoyed a close-up look at Company dancers Zhi-yao Chen, Ge Gao, Jia-bo Li and Lucas Jerkander in their gorgeous costumes while learning more about their roles in the story.
