Dive deeper into The Butterfly Lovers at a very special Ballet 360° in the intimacy of the studio to learn more about the world premiere’s background and engaging creative elements from Hong Kong Ballet (HKB) Choreographer-in-Residence Ricky Hu and Artistic Director Septime Webre. When a humble scholar meets an aristocratic heiress disguised as a boy in order to study at a prestigious academy, their fates become inextricably entwined. Featuring breathtaking excerpts from the show by HKB dancers, this entertaining evening will be filled with The Butterfly Lovers’ inspiring dance, contemporary Chinese aesthetics and eternal hope.
