Finale Performance and Sharing Meeting

This project, initiated by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and presented in partnership with The Hong Kong Ballet, ran this year for the 15th time. Over 170 students from 7 primary schools experienced 8 months of training in dance, behind-the-scenes techniques and costume design/

The 8 Finale Performances by the schools in the project were held from April to June 2015, at the 6 school halls and Y-Theatre of Youth Square. Participating schools included Christian Alliance Toi Shan H C Chan Primary School, Christian Alliance S. Y. Yeh Memorial Primary School, Catholic Mission School, C.&M.A. Chui Chak Lam Memorial School, Alliance Primary School, Whampoa, Holy Cross Lutheran School and Ching Chung Hau Po Woon Primary School. Students showcased what they had learned from their eight months of training, displaying props and decorative headdresses made by the students themselves, and danced alongside a set that magically transformed on stage. The performances in the show were fantastic, with students dancing for approximately 3,300 audience members.
