Tutu Academy Ballet Camp by the Harbour

In celebration of Hong Kong Ballet (HKB)’s 45th Anniversary Season, HKB is collaborating with Harbour City to host ‘Tutu Academy Ballet Camp by the Harbour’. Children will learn about classical ballet movements and famous music from iconic ballets like The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and Coppélia, and their parents can join the fun at a creative parent-child props and accessories making session. Additionally, under the guidance of HKB instructors, children will have the opportunity to perform a new short dance piece on an outdoor stage on National Day (1 Oct) against the beautiful backdrop of Victoria Harbour. As we look forward to a momentous year, let’s dive into the fabulous world of ballet together!

Workshop Content
1. Learn some classical ballet choreography
2. Parent-child props and accessories making session
3. Receive a unique HKB 45th Anniversary T-shirt and ballet shoes
4. Receive a custom ballet costume
5. Participate in HKB’s 45th Anniversary outdoor performance

Activity Dates
Measurement Day: 25.7 (Thu) / 15.8 (Thu)
Workshops: 7.9, 14.9, 21.9 & 28.9 (Sat)
Dress Rehearsal: 29.9 (Sun)
Outdoor Performance: 1.10 (Tue)

Application Details
Application Date: From now to 11.8.2024 (Sun)
Target: Children aged 4 to 11 years old
Participants with at least one year of dance training, particularly in ballet, are preferred
and welcomed.
Conducted in both Cantonese and English.
Quotas applied and are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stock lasts.

Workshop Fee
 Group A (Suitable for 4-6 years old) $2,500
 Group B (Suitable for 7-11 years old) $2,800

Participants who successfully obtain a spot will receive a confirmation email within 2-3 working days after submitting the form and must pay the tuition fee within 24 hours. After successful payment, they can officially participate in the "Tutu Academy Ballet Camp by the Harbour".
