Septime Webre’s thrilling Hong Kong premiere of Juanita y Alicia is a highly anticipated highlight of this Latin-flavoured gala! The soulful, passionate work is filled with technically challenging choreography inspired by Webre's maternal family growing up in colourful 1920s Havana, Cuba and set to lively traditional Cuban music by the Buena Vista Social Club.
Other inspiring pieces include Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s electrifying Sombrerismo, a sizzling pas de deux from Don Quixote, a captivating pas de deux from Flames of Paris and a stirring Swan Lake suite. All of these breathtaking classical and contemporary pieces celebrate love and passion.
Join us for a phenomenal Latin-flavoured gala as unparalleled skill, passion and drama come together in a powerful fusion of virtuosity and creativity!
