Programme Change: Amor y Pasión

With the current surge in COVID-19 cases and tightened social distancing rules, we regret to inform you that Amor y Pasión, a programme of the 50th Hong Kong Arts Festival (2022), scheduled for 4-6 March 2022, will no longer take place.

We sincerely thank you for purchasing Amor y Pasión tickets. Please consider exchanging your tickets for Septime Webre’s reimagining of The Nutcracker. Alternatively, we hope you will consider donating your tickets to support Hong Kong Ballet’s Accessibility Fund, which creates opportunities for the underserved in our community to experience ballet through free performances.

For ticket exchanges, donations or refunds, please return this completed form (bit.ly/AMOR_FORM) with the intact original ticket(s) (with stub) to us by 9 July 2022 (Fri) at 6pm. Should you have any enquiries, please contact [email protected] or +852 2105 9724 (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm).

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to seeing you back at the theatre soon!

Amor y Pasión

Septime Webre’s thrilling Hong Kong premiere of Juanita y Alicia is a highly anticipated highlight of this Latin-flavoured gala! The soulful, passionate work is filled with technically challenging choreography inspired by Webre's maternal family growing up in colourful 1920s Havana, Cuba and set to lively traditional Cuban music by the Buena Vista Social Club.

Other inspiring pieces include Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s electrifying Sombrerismo, a sizzling pas de deux from Don Quixote, a captivating pas de deux from Flames of Paris and a stirring Swan Lake suite. All of these breathtaking classical and contemporary pieces celebrate love and passion.

Join us for a phenomenal Latin-flavoured gala as unparalleled skill, passion and drama come together in a powerful fusion of virtuosity and creativity!
