On 6 December 2016, nearly 100 enthusiastic audience members attended The Preview of The Nutcracker at the Rehearsal Studio inside Hong Kong Cultural Centre. 

During the engaging presentation, the audience learned more about the background and story of The Nutcracker when Artistic Director Madeleine Onne interviewed choreographer Terence Kohler about his ideas when creating The Nutcracker. Terence also introduced his creative team for The Nutcracker.

Afterwards, they were treated to signature dance excerpts from the production performed by Company dancers among its whimsical props and sets. Dancers included Qing-xin Wang, Xin Jiang, Ricky Song-wei Hu, Tirion Lok-huen Law and Luis Cabrera in Bedroom mime scene of Act I; Child Dancer: Tsz-Ting Tsang in Clarchen’s dance; Tirion Lok-huen Law and Luis Cabrera in Clara and Fritz Pas De Deux and Jessica Burrows and Xin Jiang Egyptian Dance Pas De Deux. The dancers also shared their Nutcracker dance stories with our audience who were delighted with the experience. Everyone left with a smile on their face!
